The Radio Ammonia Mid-Plane Survey (RAMPS) is a Galactic plane molecular line survey in the 1st quadrant of the Milky Way. We perform RAMPS observations with the 100-meter Green Bank Telescope in Green Bank, West Virginia. The purpose of RAMPS is to provide a large sample of dense molecular clumps to help us better understand the formation of high-mass stars.
