Data from 'Economic analysis of ransomware' by Hernandez-Castro, Cartwright and Stepanova (2017)

This is the survey data reported in paper 'Economic analysis of ransomware', by Hernandez-Castro, Cartwright and Stepanova (2017). It is a survey of willingness to pay (WTP) and willingness to accept (WTA) for loss of computer files. 149 participants took part in the survey. For each participant we have gender, age, whether they own a computer, WTP and WTA. For details on how WTP and WTA were elicited please see the paper.
