Northern California Earthquake Data Center

Northern California Earthquake Data Center
The Northern California Earthquake Data Center (NCEDC) is a permanent archive and distribution center primarily for multiple types of digital data relating to earthquakes in central and northern California. The NCEDC is located at the University of California, Berkeley Seismological Laboratory, and has been accessible to users via the Internet since mid-1992. The NCEDC was formed as a joint project of the UC Berkeley Seismological Laboratory (BSL) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at Menlo...

Berkeley Digital Seismic Network (BDSN)

Northern California Earthquake Data Center
The Berkeley Digital Seismic Network (BDSN) is operated by the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. Operations are partially supported by the USGS. The BDSN is an array of high dynamic range, broadband seismometers with collocated strong-motion accelerometers. Data from these stations are transmitted to UC Berkeley using continuous telemetry and are analyzed for earthquakes. Data are stored at the Northern California Earthquake Data Center operated by the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. For current BDSN network information as well...

High Resolution Seismic Network (HRSN)

Northern California Earthquake Data Center
The High Resolution Seismic Network (HRSN) is operated by the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory at the University of California at Berkeley. The HRSN is an array of borehole instrumentation deployed in the Parkfield area, with the goal of monitoring microseismicity on the San Andreas fault. For current HRSN network information as well as individual station pages, please see the Berkeley Seismological Lab's HRSN pages. The HRSN has the network code BP.
