Kira - A Feynman Integral Reduction Program

Philipp Maierhoefer, Johann Usovitsch & Peter Uwer
In this article, we present a new implementation of the Laporta algorithm to reduce scalar multi-loop integrals-appearing in quantum field theoretic calculations-to a set of master integrals. We extend existing approaches by using an additional algorithm based on modular arithmetic to remove linearly dependent equations from the system of equations arising from integration-by-parts and Lorentz identities. Furthermore, the algebraic manipulations required in the back substitution are optimized. We describe in detail the implementation as well...

Derivatives of Horn-type hypergeometric functions with respect to their parameters

Vladimir Bytev, B. Kniehl & S. Moch
We consider the derivatives of Horn hypergeometric functions of any number variables with respect to their parameters. The derivative of the function in $n$ variables is expressed as a Horn hypergeometric series of $n+1$ infinite summations depending on the same variables and with the same region of convergence as for original Horn function. The derivatives of Appell functions, generalized hypergeometric functions, confluent and non-confluent Lauricella series and generalized Lauricella series are explicitly presented. Applications to...

Microwave Hidden Sector Photons at UWA.

Rhys G. Povey, John G. Hartnett & Michael E. Tobar
In these proceedings we present the latest progress on our microwave cavity light shining through a wall hidden sector photon experiment, as well as introduce a new method of hidden sector photon detection. Our new experiment uses a high Q superconducting Niobium emitter cavity and moderate Q room temperature copper detector cavity separated by ample shielding. The projected sensitivity of our setup to the kinetic mixing factor is $\chi \sim 1.8 \times 10^{-8}$ at a...
