In January and February 1999, 22 professional pianists from Vienna performed four excerpts from the Classic-Romantic repertoire by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, and Frédéric Chopin on a SE290 computer-controlled Imperial piano by the Viennese piano manufacturer Bösendorfer. Am Institut für Musikalische Akustik - Wiener Klangstil (IWK), der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien wurde eine Studie über Spielprobleme an Es-Klarinetten durchgeführt. Dabei wurde in einer Umfrage das am häufigsten verwendete Equipment (Klarinetten, Mundstücke, Blätter) erfasst, eine Es-Klarinettenrepertoireliste inkl. Tonumfänge erstellt, und die gemessene und gespielte Intonation einer umfangreichen Grifftabelle für das hohe Register verglichen.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between audio descriptors for groove-based electronic dance music (EDM) and raters’ perceived cognitive, affective, and psychomotor responses.
