The ice nucelating ability of samples from two Arctic ice cores was measured. The Lomo09 ice core originates from Lomonosovfonna (Svalbard;78°49'24"N, 17°25'59"E) and the EUROCORE ice core from Summit (Greenland; 72.58°N, 37.64°W).
