A half-day introduction to version control with Git and GitHub for researchers, developed and maintained by the Software Carpentry team.

A 1.5 hour introduction to data management in the ocean, weather and climate sciences developed and maintained by Damien Irving. It is intended that for appropriate audiences, this lesson can be used at the end of a typical Software Carpentry workshop that teaches programming using Python.
