Ground temperature data from an ice-free area at mid-range of Yukidori Zawa, Langhovde, East Antarctica during January 2010 - January 2012
Sakae Kudoh, Tomotake Wada, Masaki Uchida & Satoshi Imura
Ground (soil) temperature data recorded by temperature data recorders buried in 1 cm and 10 cm depths of the ground surface at mid range of Yukidori Zawa during the JARE-51 and 53 (2010-2012) was summarized in a table. Almost 2-year data of the ground temperature at two discrete depths were compiled in a text file from each recorder at 1-hr interval. Using the present data with air temperature and solar radiation data from neighborhood automatic...
Chlorophyll a and macro-nutrients concentrations during the ice breaker Shirase cruise of the 60th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition
Ryosuke Makabe, Shintaro Takao, Kunio Takahashi & Tsuneo Odate
Chlorophyll a concentration is the most common indicator of phytoplankton biomass, basically regulated by macro-nutrients and light intensity. Therefore, long term monitoring of these parameters gives us fundamental information on ecosystem changes with climate changes. As part of the monitoring programs of the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE), chlorophyll a concentration and macro-nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate and silicate) have been measured on board icebreakers Fuji and Shirase from JARE-14 in the 1972/73 season and from...

Damage cost of ski resorts in Nagano prefecture due to climate change
Kazunori Nakajima
The dataset contains the damage cost of ski resorts in ten regions of Nagano prefecture and the benefit of artificial snowfall machines as adaptation measure in one GCM (MIROC5) and two RCPs (RCP2.6 and RCP8.5) in two periods (2031-2050 and 2081-2100).
JAMSTEC OBS Web for Passive Survey
JAMSTEC OBS Web for Passive Survey (OBS Web) hosts a subset of data available at JAMSTEC Seismic Survey Database. OBS Web consists of seismic data from ocean bottom seismographs installed temporarily for passive survey while all active and passive seismic survey data can be requested through JAMSTEC Seismic Survey Database.

Bias corrected climate scenarios over Japan based on CDFDM method using CMIP6
Ishizaki Noriko
This dataset is bias corrected climate scenarios over Japan with the spatial resolution 1km using CMIP6. Five GCMs were selected from CMIP6; MIROC6, MRI-ESM2-0, ACCESS-CM2, IPSL-CM6A-LR, MPI-ESM1-2-HR. Regarding the GHGs emission pathways, SSP1-RCP2.6, SSP2-RCP4.5, and SSP5-RCP8.5 were used. CDFDM proposed by Iizumi et al. (2010; 2011; 2012; 2014; 2017) was modified so that the model is constructed within each month. Daily data for eight variables (daily mean, max, min temperature, precipitation, solar radiation, downward longwave...

Prefectural damage cost due to beach loss
Kazunori Nakajima
The dataset contains the prefectural damage cost and the prefectural damage cost per unit area due to beach loss in three GCMs (MIROC5, MRI-CGCM3, and HadGEM2-ES) and four RCPs (RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP6.0, and RCP8.5) in two periods (2031-2050 and 2081-2100).
