Quality of Research Practice: Face validity questionnaire responses

Emelie Fröberg, Uno Fors, Udo Zander, Gunnar H Nilsson & Pär Mårtensson
There are few acknowledged quality standards for research practice and evaluation, even though universities are increasingly judged on research impact. This dataset contains questionnaire responses from 42 senior researchers working (within 18 different departments) at three major universities in Sweden about the importance of 32 defined criteria based on four main areas (credible, contributory, communicable, and conforming) describing indicators of research practice quality.

Effect of climate dataset selection on simulations of terrestrial GPP

Zhendong Wu & Veiko Lehsten
This dataset contains the GPP output (1979-2010) from LPJ-GUESS using six historical climate datasets (CRU, CRUNCEP, ECMWF, NCEP, PRINCETON, and WFDEI), the results of the analysis from Wu et al. (2018): Effect of climate dataset selection on simulations of terrestrial GPP: highest uncertainty for tropical regions.

Increased water-use efficiency and reduced CO₂ uptake by plants during droughts at a continental-scale

Wouter Peters
This zip file contains 7 individual CSV files with annual mean numbers for Net Ecosystem Exchange (units of PgC/yr), and discrimination for δ¹³C of vegetation (units of ‰). These numbers are averaged over all Northern Hemisphere land grid boxes of each model. The values available correspond to those used in the 2018 Nature Geoscience publication by Peters et al.. Full description of the methodology used to create these numbers is available from the publication and...

Hierarchical PFAMs annotated within nodules of the actinorhizal hosts Datisca glomerata and Ceanothus thyrsiflorus.

Marco Guedes Salgado
Averaged Transcript per Million reads (TPM) covering the Top 100 contigs assigned within the “biological process” category of Datisca glomerata and Ceanothus thyrsiflorus.

Expressed serine peptidases in nodules of Datisca glomerata and Ceanothus thyrsiflorus

Marco Guedes Salgado
The nodule transcriptomes were de novo assembled by Trinity and annotated using the Trinotate pipeline. Transcript abundance was estimated by RSEM and presented as transcript per million reads (TPM) for the subcategory of S8A serine subtilases.

Database oriented studies of Swedish child language development

Sven Strömqvist
The 50 computerized transcription files contained in this first release of the Swedish corpus relate to the project 'Database oriented studies of Swedish child language development', in which the language development in four monolingual Swedish children is analysed. The four children under study grow up in middle-class families on the west coast of Sweden. The families speak standard Swedish with a modest touch of the regional variant. The recorded material relates to a wide range...

The Media Panel Program (MPP) is located at the University of Lund in Sweden. It is a long-term research program focused on basic aspects of the mass media use by Swedish children, adolescents and young adults, as well as on the causes, consequences and effects of that media use. The program was founded by professors Karl Erik Rosengren and Sven Windahl in 1975, after a series of preliminary studies. Since 1995, the program has been...

Dataset for study of the Role of Exposure and Risk Perceptions in Protective Behaviour Against Tick-Borne Diseases

Daniel Slunge
The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of risk perceptions and exposure for protective behaviour against tick bites and the related diseases Lyme borreliosis (LB) and tick-borne encephalitis (TBE), both of which are growing health concerns. We use data from a national survey in Sweden with respondents in geographical areas with substantial differences in both abundance of ticks and incidence of LB and TBE. We find that the share of respondents who...

U15002 Flergenerationsdatabas: uppdatering

GIS data set over archaeological remains on Samoa

Olof Håkansson
Data set that contains information on archaeological remains of the pre historic settlement of the Letolo valley on Savaii on Samoa. It is built in ArcMap from ESRI and is based on previously unpublished surveys made by the Peace Corps Volonteer Gregory Jackmond in 1976-78, and in a lesser degree on excavations made by Helene Martinsson Wallin and Paul Wallin. The settlement was in use from at least 1000 AD to about 1700- 1800. Since...

Christopher Juhlin, Erik Sturkell, Jan Ove R. Ebbestad, Oliver Lehnert, Anette E. S. Högström & Guido Meinhold
Two new reflection seismic profiles over the Paleozoic successions of the western part of the Siljan Ring impact structure were acquired during 2011, the Mora and the Orsa profile. This data set concerns the Orsa profile. The profile has length of c. 12 km and the processed data image the geological section to about 3 km depth (Silurian siliciclastic and Ordovician carbonate rocks to serveral hundred metres depth, below disturbed Paleoproterozoic crystalline basement). During the...
