The deep embedment (DE) of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) bars is a promising shear-strengthening scheme for existing concrete structures. In the current study, a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element (FE) model for DE-strengthened reinforced concrete beams was developed and validated.
