BNL-RHIC. The PHENIX experiment has measured the suppression of semi-inclusive single high transverse momentum $\pi^0$'s in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{sNN}=200$ GeV. The present understanding of this suppression is in terms of energy-loss of the parent (fragmenting) parton in a dense color-charge medium. The CP-violating weak phase $\phi_{\mathrm{s}}$ and the decay width difference $\Delta\Gamma_{\mathrm{s}}$ between the light and heavy $\mathrm{B}^0_\mathrm{s}$ mass eigenstates are measured with the CMS detector at the LHC in a sample of $48\,500$ reconstructed $\mathrm{B}^0_\mathrm{s}\to\mathrm{J /\psi}\,\mathrm{\phi(1020)} \to \mathrm{\mu^+}\mathrm{\mu^-}\,\mathrm{K^+}\mathrm{K^-}$ events. BNL-RHIC. We report transverse momentum ($p_T \leq 15$ GeV/c) spectra of $\pi^{\pm}$, $K^{\pm}$ and $p$, $\bar{p}$, $K^0_S$, and $\rho^0$ at mid-rapidity in p+p and Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 200$ GeV. Perturbative QCD calculations are consistent with $\pi^{\pm}$ spectra in p+p collisions but do not reproduce $K$ and $p$($\bar{p}$) spectra. The observed decreasing antiparticle-to-particle ratios with increasing $p_T$ provide experimental evidence for varying quark and gluon jet contributions to high-$p_T$ hadron yields.
