Pilot Houtribdijk aims at gathering evidence for the effectiveness of a sandy foreshore in front of a dike in specific circumstances.A sandy foreshore to strengthen a dike is already a proven solution on seashores. However, in other locations – lakes, for example – more evidence is needed.This data collection contains the monitoring data that was collected during pilot project 2014-2018.
