Artiklis on lühidalt käsitletud temporomandibulaarliigese diski kirurgilisi ravimeetodeid. Temporomandibulaarliigese diski kirurgilist ravi kasutatakse, kui konservatiivne ravi ei ole olnud efektiivne. Alguses rakendatakse minimaalse invasiivsusega meetodeid: artrotsenteesi, artroskoopiat ning selle käigus diski liidetest vabastamist ja liigese loputamist. Sõltuvalt liigese muutuste raskusastmest tehakse artroskoopilisel või lahtise lõikuse meetodil diski repositsioon ehk nihkunud disk asetatakse õigesse füsioloogilisse asendisse, diskektoomia ehk disk eemaldatakse või diski plastika ehk disk eemaldatakse ja asendatakse transplantaadiga.
