Whole-genome sequencing and comprehensive molecular profiling identify new driver mutations in gastric cancer
Suet Yi Leung
Gastric cancer is a heterogeneous disease with diverse molecular and histological subtypes. We performed whole-genome sequencing in 100 tumor-normal pairs, along with DNA copy number, gene expression and methylation profiling, for integrative genomic analysis. We found subtype-specific genetic and epigenetic perturbations and unique mutational signatures. We identified previously known (TP53, ARID1A and CDH1) and new (MUC6, CTNNA2, GLI3, RNF43 and others) significantly mutated driver genes. Specifically, we found RHOA mutations in 14.3% of diffuse-type tumors...

Supporting data for \"Elucidating Coronavirus and Virus-host Interaction in Bat and Human Intestinal Organoids\"
Xiaojuan Liu, Zhixin Wan, Cun Li & Jie Zhou
In contrast to various pathologies in human coronavirus infections, bats appear to host coronaviruses in an asymptomatic manner, indicating a distinct profile of virus-host interaction in bats. Moreover, coronaviruses, show enteric tropism in humans and animals, especially in bats, as most bat coronaviruses were identified from fecal specimens. The lack of a robust and biological-relevant in vitro model has been a hurdle for studying numerous bat coronaviruses and elucidating virus-host interactions in human and bat cells....
Supporting dataset for First-principles Quantum Chemical Studies on Reaction of Hydrogen Superoxide with Water and Sulfur Dioxide at Supercritical Conditions
Dehui Zhang
As people pay more and more attention to the air pollution, it is particularly essential to study the chemical reaction mechanism in atmospheric reactions. Hydrogen-oxygen species such as OH, HO2, H2O2, and H2O are important in atmospheric chemistry, and their reaction mechanisms deserve further study. However, due to the extremely high cost of calculation, the accuracy of electronic structure calculation was relatively low in past studies, resulting in unclear reaction mechanism explanations in the calculation...

Supporting Data For \"Visual Influences on Quantity Perception on Online Grocery Retailing\"
Wanyi Zheng
Online retailing platforms are adopting various practices to present quantities of grocery items on the webpages where consumers make quantity-based purchase decisions.
The current research identifies a solution based on visual aids—supplementing the numerical information with a corresponding number of visual icons—to promote product packs containing more individual units. Thirteen preregistered, incentive-compatible studies (N = 6,388) demonstrate that our proposed solution of visual aids of quantity presentation shifts consumers’ preferences from smaller-quantity packs toward...
