Supporting data for “Applying Integrated Behaviour Change Theories and Mobile Health Technology for Promoting Sport Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation”
Sport injury is one of the leading causes of injury among youth. The medical and economic burdens for sport injury are always being overlooked. Injury may not only lead to temporary impairment of sport performance and absence from sport, but it can also result in early retirement from competitive sport, lower future commitment to physical activity and prolonged recovery when following a rehabilitation programme. Sport injury prevention strategies and rehabilitation programmes have been developed to...

Supporting Data for \"Two Essays on the Adoption of New Technologies: How People perceive and Interact with Them\"
Xue Wang
In the recent years, different forms of new technologies, such as robots and artificial intelligence, have entered into our lives. Although behavioral scientists have started to investigate this phenomena, scholarly research in this field is still at an early stage. This thesis aims to advance our understanding on human interaction with technologies in business contexts. Prior work has suggested the benefits of equipping robots with humanlike features in non-competitive contexts. Extending this, essay 1 examines...
Shifting macrophage polarization with use of chondroitinase ABC in spinal cord injury
Sin Ning Shannon Ho
Following spinal cord injury, the majority of macrophages are polarised to the pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype, contributing to secondary injury. This study aims to find ways to manipulate macrophage polarisation to the M2 phenotype to facilitate recovery from spinal cord injury. Dataset includes Western blot analysis, RT-PCR, IHC and ICC experiments from animal and cell culture models.

The Role of Nuclear Enriched Abundant Transcript 1 (NEAT1) in Diabetic Nephropathy
Rui Xue
Diabetic Nephropathy (DN), one of the most common microvascular complication of diabetes, is a serious public health concern all over the world. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are more than 200 nucleotides in length and play roles in various biological pathways, such as inflammation, cell senesce and apoptosis. On this basis, my research direction is about to explore the role of lncRNA Nuclear Enriched Abundant Transcript 1 (NEAT1) in diabetic nephropathy and to find new therapeutic...

Supporting data for “Clusterin as a functional downstream target in Sox9-expressing hepatocellular carcinoma”.
Pik Ying Wong & Cheuk Lam Regina Lo
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the deadliest cancers across the globe. Patients are usually diagnosed at advanced stage. Presence of microvascular metastasis, oversized tumor burden and insufficient liver remnant reduce the feasibility to surgical and local ablative treatment modalities. Besides, high propensity of tumor recurrence and metastasis increase the level of challenge in eliminating HCC. As a matter of fact, targeted therapy confers survival benefits to HCC patients in late phase. In this regard,...

Temporal changes in sialoglycan binding profile of human H3N2 influenza viruses
The human H3N2 influenza viruses was introduced into the human population in 1968 as a novel pandemic virus that emerged through genetic reassortment between human H2N2 and avian influenza virus of H3 subtype. A switch in receptor binding specificity is a critical step for influenza interspecies transmission, as avian influenza viruses typically recognize alpha 2, 3-linked sialiosides while human influenza viruses recognize alpha 2,6-linked sialosides. Further, the receptor binding domain (RBD) that mediates binding to...

This dataset also includes the results files of ovary follicle counting,...
Shape-control growth of 2D-In2Se3 with out-of-plane ferroelectricity by chemical vapor deposition
Rashad Rashid
For the potential applications in ferroelectric switching and piezoelectric nano-generator device, the promising ferroelectric properties of two dimensional (2D) layered In2Se3 attracted much attention. In the present study, 2D In2Se3 flakes down to monolayers are grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique on mica substrate with the structural, optical and ferroelectric properties being studied. The effect of growth parameter (time of growth and Ar flow rate) on the shape and size of the deposited flakes...
Exosomal Complement Factor H Promotes Liver Cancer Metastasis by Inhibiting Complement-dependent Cytotoxicity of Tumor Cells
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the seventh most common malignancy in the world, can cause deaths of approximately 780,000 patients each year. Although a large number of studies have been conducted for a long time, the current treatment level of HCC is very limited, and many treatments are only effective for early HCC. However, most HCC are diagnosed in the advanced stage. Usually, patients with advanced stage have extrahepatic metastasis. This metastasis is not a random process....

Expressed Breast Milk Feeding Practices in Hong Kong Chinese Mothers of Healthy Full-term Infants
Breastfeeding provides optimal nutrients for infants and is one of the most important public health issues. Globally, breastfeeding initiation rates are high with around 95% of all infants receiving some breastmilk. Over the past two decades, the mode of breastfeeding has been evolving and an increasing number of mothers are now choosing to feed their infant by expressed breast milk rather than directly at the breast. However, only few recent studies have described the rates...
