BETYdb is a database of plant trait and yield data that supports research, forecasting, and decision making associated with the development and production of cellulosic biofuel crops. Data from a wide variety of sources with broad geographic and temporal coverage are included. Data are added on an ongoing basis.
The Benchmark Sediment Monitoring Program collects weekly suspended sediment concentrations and biannual suspended particle size (sand-fines) at a selected set of Illinois rivers and streams. Sediment collection samples are gathered by local private citizens trained by Illinois State Water Survey staff.
The Illinois Climate Network (ICN) monitors weather and soil groundwater conditions at 19 stations throughout Illinois. Operating since 1989, the network provides hourly and daily data on numerous parameters, including air temperature, precipitation, and wind speed as well as soil temperature and moisture. Data updated monthly.
The Shallow Groundwater Network monitors water table levels at stations across Illinois. Data represent daily measurements and are updated monthly.
