Romain Guyot, Perla Hamon, Emmanuel Couturon, Nathalie Raharimalala & Jean-Jacques Rakotomalala
Coffee is a beverage enjoyed by millions of people worldwide and an important commodity for millions of people. Beside the two cultivated species (Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora), the 139 wild coffee species belong to the Coffea genus are largely unknown to coffee scientists and breeders although these species may be crucial for future coffee crop development to face climate changes. Here we present the Wild Coffee Species database hosted by PlantNet platform (http://publish.plantnet-project.org/project/wildcofdb_en), providing...

Community readiness to address unhealthy food and beverage consumption in Ghana: in-depth interview transcripts of local stakeholders

This study assessed community readiness to address unhealthy food and beverage consumption in women of reproductive age in urban Ghana. The Community Readiness Model (CRM) assessed the stage of readiness of communities within Accra and Ho to address the consumption of unhealthy foods and beverages. In-depth individual interviews were conducted in 2018 with 24 key informants from various sectors across the two cities. The CRM survey consists of 36 open questions addressing five readiness dimensions:...

Participatory photography (photovoice) to explore food environments in Ghana: interview transcripts

The aim of this study was to identify social and physical factors that influence food choices in women and adolescent girls living in urban Ghana. In 2017, a qualitative study was conducted amongst women and adolescent girls aged 13-49 years living in socio-economically deprived urban neighbourhoods in Accra (n=32) and Ho (n=32). Participants used photography to identify characteristics in their social and physical environment that drive their dietary behaviours. Specifically, participants were asked to take...

Design of the PI2Puino casing system: STL and SCAD 3d print models

Francois Rebaudo & Titouan Soulard
The PI2Puino is an integrated board that includes a LoRa module (with an embedded antenna), an Arduino-compatible microcontroller and a battery holder. It allows gathering on-site measurements and sending them to a gateway. It was designed specifically for the PI2P project. These are the openSCAD and STL files to print the casing system with a 3D printer. More information can be found here: https://frareb.github.io/pi2p_docu

Ce document a été créé pour clarifier les règles d'annotation utilisées dans le cadre du projet MeDo. Il a pour objectif de guider les annotateurs dans le choix des bonnes «étiquettes» pour annoter les textes. This document has been created to clarify the annotation rules used within the framework of the MeDo project. It aims to help annotators in choosing the right "labels" when manually annotating text documents.

Microplastic concentrations in riverine environments of Hanoi, Northern Vietnam. COMPOSE (2019-2021) and CounterMEASUREII (2021-2022) projects

Thi Thuy Duong, Thi Phuong Quynh Le, Nhu Da Le, Thi Nhu Huong Nguyen & Emilie Strady
Microplastic (300-5000µm) concentrations were measured in the Red River, the Nhue River (upstream, middle stream and downstream), the To Lich River and the Day River of Hanoi, Northern Vietnam, under the COMPOSE project (2019-2021) and the CounterMEASUREII project (2021-2022). Microplastic were sampled using a 80µm mesh size net from a local boat. The samples were extracted in the laboratory using enzymatic digestion, NaCl density separation and were filtrated on GF-A filter. Then microplastic were observed...

Dataset from an in-field experimental rainfall simulation and aquatic mesocosm - Vietnam, Hanoi Province, Dong Cao and Cua Khau Lake, 2012

Emilie Strady, Thuy Chung Kieu Le & Van Thoai Nguyen
Anthropogenic fibers, gathering synthetic fibers (including fibers of plastic origin), artificial fibers (including fibers of plastic origin) and natural fibers were measured in the surface water of the Saigon River, crossing the developing megacity Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Bulk samples were taken monthly from July 2016 to December 2017. Samples were analyzed in the laboratory following a three steps digestion and a filtration. The filters, retaining the anthropogenic fibers, were observed by stereomicroscope...

Elle est aussi la prolongation des campagnes NECTAlis destinées à étudier la chaîne trophique océanique qui conduit aux thons. Six scientifiques ont embarqué...

Instantiation example of the user centric metadata model - REPHY network

Valentina BERETTA
This example of the proposed use centric metadata model is constructed using the data of Observation and Monitoring Network for Phytoplankton and Hydrology in coastal waters. The dataset [Cellule d'Administration Quadrige², 2017] contains several files of distinct parameters measured between 2006 and 2016 at the French surveillance sites (called REPHY network). However, to give the proof-of-concept illustration of the proposed model, only observations related to the concentration measurements of Pheopigment (i.e. a pigment which is...

The system of informal waste collectors and aggregators in Hanoi city (Vietnam) was surveyed in the framework of two projects: the first phase (JEAI Recycurbviet 2017-2020) and the second phase in the framework of the Compose project (2019-2021). The social survey based on questionnaire was carried out in the entire area of in Hanoi city to identify the location of the aggregator warehouse participating to the informal waste collection and recycling in the city. Then,...

Fasta files for InpactorDB: A Plant classified lineage-level LTR retrotransposon reference library for free-alignment methods based on Machine Learning

Romain Guyot, Simon Orozco-Arias & Gustavo Isaza
Here, we present InpactorDB a semi-curated dataset composed of 130,511 elements from 195 plant genomes belonging to 108 plant species, classified down to the lineage level. This dataset has been used to train two deep neural networks (one fully connected and one convolutional) for fast classification of elements. Used in lineage-level classification approaches, we obtain a score above 98% of F1-score, precision and recall. In order to classify elements of the ‘LTR_STRUC’ and ‘EDTA’ datasets,...
