In 2017, we undertook a systematic mapping review to synthesise factors influencing dietary behaviours in urban food environments in Africa and identify areas for future research. We registered our review protocol in the PROSPERO database (CRD42017068931). We include data extracted on factors influencing dietary behaviours of adolescents and adults (11-70 years, male/female). Data included were synthesised from 39 studies undertaken in 15 African countries (28 quantitative; 9 qualitative; 2 mixed methods).

L'anthropométrie des enfants de moins de 12 ans a été étudiée lors de l'enquête à objectifs multiples de la moyenne vallée du fleuve Sénégal (MISOES), conduite en 1957-1958. Cette enquête nutritionnelle portait sur deux échantillons représentatifs, l'un en milieu urbain (770 enfants) et l'autre en milieu rural (1249 enfants). Plusieurs mesures ont été prises : poids, taille, tour de bras, pli cutané tricipital, pli cutané sous-scapulaire, hauteur sous-crête iliaque, largeur bi-acromiale, largeur bi-iliaque.

The export of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) from agricultural soils can represent an important path-way of soil organic carbon loss. Here we present the data of a series of rain simulation experiments aimed at examining DOC export from sloping lands in North Vietnam. Three regularly used agricultural practices were tested and compared with Bare soils. We also compared the impact of leaf litter in two planted forest sites.

Soil macrofauna diversity and activity in Dong Cao catchment from the long term observatory network M-Tropics (https://mtropics.obs-mip.fr/). Sites are: (i) a fallow + Eucalyptus trees, (ii) a fallow, (iii) a cassava plantation, (iv) forests (2 sites) and (v) plantation of bracharia sp. Two soil depths are considered: 0-15 and 15-30 cm. Wood density data of central African rainforest trees

The dataset contains wood density measures (n=3820) from 822 trees (55 species, 16 families) destructively sampled in six countries of central Africa. Wood density estimations are reported for six tree compartments along tree vertical profile, from the stump to the smallest branches. Field and laboratory protocols are described in publications associated to these data, notably Fayolle et al. (2018, Forest ecology and management) and Momo Ploton et al. (2020, Scientific Reports).
