2m wind speed, wind direction and air temperature at EastGRIP site on Greenland Ice Sheet, summer 2019Hans Christian Steen-Larsen & Sonja Wahl
Hourly 2m wind speed (scalar mean), wind direction and air temperature measurements from the EastGRIP site in the accumulation zone of the Greenland Ice Sheet in the period from 25.05.2019-29.07.2019.
Direct isotope surface flux measurements calculated by the combination of an eddy-covariance instrument (Campbell Scientific Irgason) and a Picarro (L-2140i) cavity ring-down isotopologue gas analyzer. The averaging time was 25 minutes. The timestamp indicates the beginning of the averaging period. The measurement system was set up at 2.15m height and measured isotope fluxes above the snow surface from 25.05.2019-29.07.2019 at the EastGRIP site in the accumulation zone of the Greenland Ice Sheet. The data is...
2m, raw 20Hz data of wind, sonic temperature and humidity at EastGRIP site on Greenland Ice Sheet, summer 2019Hans Christian Steen-Larsen & Sonja Wahl
IRGASON raw 20Hz data stored directly as measured by the instrument, in plain text .dat files. The IRGASON was installed at 2.15m facing the prevailing wind direction. Data columns correspond to: date and time (TIMESTAMP) u, y and z components of wind vector in m/s (Ux, Uy, Uz), sonic temperature in degrees Celsius (T_SONIC), absolute humidity (H2O-density), and diagnostic flags for sonic temperature and humidity (diag_sonic, diag_irga).
Calibrated 2m stable water vapor isotope data from EastGRIP site on Greenland Ice Sheet, summer 2019Hans Christian Steen-Larsen & Sonja Wahl
Stable water vapor isotopologue data (~1Hz) from the 2m level above snow surface. The cavity ring-down spectroscopy instrument used was a Picarro L-2140i. The data was corrected for the humidity-isotope response of the instrument and the measurements referenced to the VSMOW-SLAP scale. The estimated precision is 0.23 ‰ for d18O and 1.4‰ for dD following Steen-Larsen et al. (2013). The measurements span a period from 25.05.2019-29.07.2019. The measurement site was co-located with the EastGRIP ice...
2m processed sensible and latent heat flux, friction velocity and stability at EastGRIP site on Greenland Ice Sheet, summer 2019Hans Christian Steen-Larsen & Sonja Wahl
Processed 30 minute surface sensible and latent heat flux including quality control flags after Foken et al. (2012). The latent heat flux was calculated assuming a latent heat of sublimation of 2834 J/g snow. Friction velocity and Monin-Obukhov stability parameter estimates are provided for convenience. Processing software was EASYFLUX DL provided by Campbell Scientific. The timestamps indicate the beginning of the 30 minute averaging period . The IRGASON was installed at 2.15m facing the prevailing wind...
