Numerical optimization of the cantilever piezoelectric generator

In this paper, we consider the adequacy of the use of the straight normal hypothesis in the applied theory for the calculation of a cantilever-type piezoelectric generator that takes into account the incomplete piezo-element coating of the substrate, which was obtained earlier, and a numerical optimization procedure for piezoelectric generator is given, taking into account critical failure stresses.

This paper discusses axially symmetric contact problems of rigid punch and poroelastic foundation interaction employing Cowin-Nunziato linear poroelasticity model. On wave field formation on the surface of piezoactive bodies with inhomogeneous coating

Within the framework of a model for the piezoelectric structure with a coating made of a functionally graded material with a piecewise-continuous variation of properties, the problem of propagation of horizontally polarized shear surface waves was investigated. The influence of the polarization vector orientation and the nature of the coating inhomogeneity on the propagation of surface waves in an "acoustically homogeneous" structure was studied.
