Semantic mapping of the BonaRes metadata schema to INSPIRE and DataCite

In this table, the metadata elements of the BonaRes metadata schema are mapped to similar metadata elements of INSPIRE and DataCite 4.0. The mapping is part of a metadata crosswalks, but only considers the semantic aspect of a crosswalk. This mapping can be used to derive metadata from the BonaRes schema into either the DataCite or INSPIRE schema.

Agroforestry promotes soil microbial groups

Samples of the upper 5-cm topsoil were taken in spring 2019 at three sites with paired agroforestry and conventional monoculture croplands. Samples within the agroforestry systems were taken in the tree row and at 1, 7, and 24 m distance in the crop row from the tree row. We quantified 13 taxonomic groups of microorganisms and 9 genes involved in N cycling (N2 fixation, nitrification, and denitrification) in soil using real-time PCR.
