PrFeO3 (PFO) has been shown to be an active photochemical water reduction in slurry reactors, but has yet to be shown as a photocathode for photoelectrochemical water reduction, to the best of our knowledge. The work herein describes the fabrication of active PFO photocathodes through a spray pyrolysis method with subsequent calcination at 500, 600 and 700˚C.
