Range, orientation, temperature and pressure data recorded with AMT beacons in Monterey Canyon, offshore California

An array of three Sonardyne Acoustic Monitoring Transponders (AMTs) was placed in Monterey Canyon to monitor small scale seafloor movements (creep) as part of the Monterey Canyon Coordinated Canyon Experiment (CCE). The CCE was set up to measure the passage of sediment gravity flows down Monterey Canyon. Each instrument was in place for deployments lasting up to six months beginning in October 2015 and October 2016. One AMT was placed at 300 meters water depth...
