Materials Data on CePb3 by Materials Project

Kristin Persson
CePb3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded to twelve equivalent Pb atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing CePb12 cuboctahedra. All Ce–Pb bond lengths are 3.46 Å. Pb is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Ce atoms.
