Li3Mn3(PO4)4 crystallizes in the triclinic P1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are nine inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted LiO5 trigonal bipyramids that share a cornercorner with one MnO6 octahedra, corners with three PO4 tetrahedra, an edgeedge with one MnO6 octahedra, an edgeedge with one MnO5 square pyramid, and an edgeedge with one PO4 tetrahedra.
