Dear Low-Income First-Generation (FGLI) Scholars

Regina Carter
This presentation was provided by a former low-income, first-generation (FGLI) college student who currently serves as a librarian. It is written in the form of a personal narrative and concludes with a letter to FGLI scholars. It was shared during the University of Virginia's AL1GN Conference on March 22, 2019 and serves as a reminder to FGLI scholars that obtaining a college degree is indeed possible.
