Selection of optimal pollution management strategy for the Little Akaki River, Ethiopia, based on determination of spatio-temporal pollutant dynamics and water quality modeling
Zelalem Abera Angello
This study was aimed at selecting an optimum pollution management option in the Little Akaki River, Ethiopia, based on evaluation of targeted source-based and stream measures. Process-based modeling incorporating assessment and pollution source apportionment, pollution load quantification followed by water quality modeling was used were combined pollution source control and stream measures such as the use of rock ramps was found a better pollution reduction approach in the river.
