In the Paleoproterozoic Trans-Hudson Orogen, a well exposed section of mid-crust on Hall Peninsula, southeastern Baffin Island, offers an opportunity to improve our understanding of mid-crustal tectonothermal processes in hot, collisional orogens. Additionally, more robust age constraints on the tectonic history of Hall Peninsula are important for plate tectonic reconstructions of the North Atlantic region.
