A spectrally encapsulated orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (SE-OFDM) precoding scheme for short packet transmission that is able to suppress the out-of-band emission (OoBE) while maintaining the advantage of thecyclic prefix (CP)-OFDM is proposed.
