Background: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) reduces the risk of HIV transmission. However, adherence is crucial in maximizing effectiveness. We explored adherence among HIV negative partners of serodiscordant couples enrolled in PrEP demonstration study in Nigeria. Methods: Semi-structured interviews with 35 partners were conducted. All participants received clinic-based adherence support.
