Introduction: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) reduces the risk of HIV transmission. Serodiscordant couples are one of the populations identified to be at high risk for HIV infection. We conducted a qualitative study to understand what discontinuing PrEP means to users in relation to their perceived risk of acquiring HIV.
