Vogelherd und Bocksteinschmiede im Lonetal

The faunas of two recently excavated caverns are being compared, that of the Bocksteinschmiede and that of the Vogelherd, both situated in the Lone-Valley, Württemberg. The main part of the animal remains has been brought in by man. The Vogelherd contained remains of at least 180 animals, the Bocksteinschmiede of at least 250.
