It is tried to draw attention to anthropogene sediments in Hesse, which are of pre-mediaeval age. According to fauna and 14C-analysis redeposited loess on foot of a basalt hill at Rhünda belongs to the older part of Subatlanticum. A loess from the slope of Großer Mosen-Berg near Homberg/Efze contains a similar Late Holocene fauna.
