14C-Alter eines interstadialen Torfes in der postglazialen Hammerau-Terrasse und eines Moores unter Kalktuff bei Tittmoning an der Salzach (Oberbayern)

In the postglacial "Hammerau-Terrasse" of the river Salzach, Bavaria, the author discovered remains of peat embedded inbetween fluvial gravel. For two samples the radiocarbon datings showed ages of 23150 +680/-630 (HEL-228) and 34550 +2500/-1850 (HEL-227). The stratigraphic position and the ages of the peat according to the radiocarbon datings perhaps indicate the Würm Interstadial. These remains originate from an interstadial riverside bog.
