Anwendung glaziotektonischer Untersuchungen bei der geologischen Kartierung in Dänemark

Kaj Strand Petersen
The historical background and the debate on the causes of dislocations observed in Danish coastal cliffs are outlined with reference to Danish papers. By way of examples glaciotectonic analysis is shown to be useful for geological mapping as well as for prospecting purposes. Weichselian ice advances are discussed in the light of recent glaciotectonic studies.
