Periglaziale Deckschichten auf weichselzeitlichen Sedimenten in Polen

Arno Semmel
From the area of the Weichselian glaciation in Poland, wide-spread, thin periglacial cover-layers are described. They possess, as a rule, an acolian component, and can thus be distinguished from underlying strata. They are of Late-Glacial origin, and are similar to strata, which have long been known from the Weichselian area of the German Democratic Republic. Similar strata have also been found in the northern Alpine Foreland.
