A New Chronostratigraphy of the Late Weichselian Loess Units in Middle Europe based on Thermoluminescence Dating

The ages of tephra layers, soils and loess bodies of the late Weichsel are discussed using a consistent set of twen-tythree thermoluminescence (TL) ages and two radiocarbon ages. Two other radiocarbon ages are rejected since they are inconsistent with the other twentyfive dates. A new chronostratigraphy of the late weichselian loess units is introduced.
