The postglacial sedimentation history of the Großer Jasmunder Bodden, a coastal lagoon in the southern Baltic Sea area, is discussed using the results from stratigraphical and geochemical investigations of two sediment cores. These cores cover the time period from the Older Atlantic to the present.
