Structure, architecture and formation of the push moraine near Peski (Belorussia) are described and compared with those of the push moraine on the Jasmund peninsula (Germany, Rügen Island). It is common to both push moraines, that the Upper Cretaceous and Pleistocene sediments – at Peski Tertiary sands additional – are glacigenously folded and faulted (imbricate structures).
