The article is devoted to the Balkan vector of Great Britain’s foreign policy. The author has analyzed the British policy on the Balkan Peninsula at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries and at the present stage and have traced the geopolitical interests of the British in a comparative temporal context, motivated to use either military or peaceful methods of asserting the British presence in the region.
