ABSTRACT When looking at acute receiving water impacts due to combined sewer overflows the characteristics of rainfall runoff and the sewer properties may influence the peak loads of dissolved matter significantly. In this paper, the influences on the dynamic soluble transport in the sewer are evaluated by means of hydrodynamic simulations. The simulations are based on different scenarios for rainfall runoff characteristics and sewer properties.
