This study examined the event-based performance of continuous deflective separation (CDS) for removal of particle fractions transported in actual rainfall-runoff from a 1088-m2 source area paved urban watershed. Four independent rainfall-runoff events were examined and the entire volume of runoff and particulate matter from each event was treated by the continuous deflective separator at the full-scale treatment facility located on I-10 over City Park Lake in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.
