The effect of 1H-benzotriazole (BTAH) with ppm (part per million) grade concentrations on copper corrosion in aerated 3 wt. % NaCl solution is studied using chemical method (weight loss) and electrochemical methods (Potentiodynamic Polarization and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)).
