Although cellular senescence drives multiple age-related co-morbidities through the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP), in vivo senescent cell identification remains challenging. Here, we generated a gene set (SenMayo) and validated its enrichment in bone biopsies from two aged human cohorts.
