An oceanographic measurement system aboard the Alaskan ferry Tustumena operated for four years in the Alaska Coastal Current with funding from the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council, the North Pacific Research Board and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
