Invertebrate species diversity in the San Joaquin Desert, California by key habitat characteristics

We measured the arthropod communities associated with the shrub species Ephedra californica and Larrea tridentata at nine sites across three desert regions in California, USA. Panoche Hills, Cuyama Valley, and the Mojave Desert. Specimens were collected using pitfall traps containing a 50% mixture of propylene glycol and water.
