Research on the Heating Value of Shrub Biomass from Mixed Pine and Eucalyptus Forest and Effect of Field Seasoning

The effect of seasoning shrub biomass was studied in the conditions typical of north-west Portugal. Biomass of gorse, heath, pine, acacia, bramble and rockrose was stored in piles, exposed to local weather conditions from November 2008 to April 2009.
