Numerical Simulation of the Start Up of a Biomass Gasifier

This work deals with the development of a one dimensional model for the investigation of the startup behavior of an updraft biomass gasifier. The model, based on heat and mass continuity equations, features a pseudo ­kinetic description of the process.
