Study of the Reaction Front Thickness in a Biomass Fixed-Bed Combustor

The aim of this work is to analyze the behaviour of the reaction front thickness in a biomass combustor depending on the air mass flow rate. With this purpose, some modifications are introduced in a real fixed-bed combustor to continuously measure the depth of the bed’s surface.
