Reduction of NOx and PM1 Emissions from Automated Boilers by Advanced Air Staging

This paper presents the possible reduction potential of NOx and PM1 emissions by applying advanced air staging. Test runs with chipboard have been carried out with a 150kW pilot-scale furnace with moving grate technology.
